Mother of two grown daughters. Born in Limburg where I did the PABO in Maastricht. In education I worked in Hilversum, Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and IJburg.

Still, I wanted to be able to do more for children. Especially since it touched me when they got stuck, or somehow couldn't be themselves - who they really are.

This resulted in my studies at the Dutch Academy for Psychotherapy in Amsterdam.

Since 2006 I have been able to meet many children in my practice. And time and again I am impressed by the inner wisdom that every child has, and with the right guidance, gets exactly what is needed.

 

During all these years I discovered that adults can learn a lot from children. Children are the mirror of what is happening in the adult world .

So I naturally started coaching more and more adults. Whether this parents, grandparents, or teachers, it is wonderful to see how changes occur by the insights of the adults themselves, as I explain what reflects the child, ie actually really want to say. The moment the insight comes, it can be felt by the parent and the child. I think this is one of the best moments. I am genuinely affected. From here a different focus arises, and the connection is lovingly restored.

 

The process with (young) adults without children is also very nice to supervise. I continue to be amazed at how beautifully the world around them reflects where they are on their path at that moment. By examining this together, the underlying core becomes visible, which also contains the insights that make transformation possible.
